Adherents of the Swoon Theory claim that Jesus did not actually die on the cross, but merely fell unconscious or ‘swooned’. After being placed in a damp tomb - bleeding and without food or water for three days he then revived. He somehow unwrapped the grave clothes, rolled away the two-ton stone, overpowered the guards and went on to convince others that he had risen from the dead.
