Arrow Class: Genesis 36:11
Esau had 5 sons! His son Eliphaz also had 5 sons! Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam and Kenez! Today let’s read Genesis 36:11 and go over the meaning of each child’s name and then talk about that definition. Teman means the south! Grab a compass and show your Tiny Arrow which way is south! Omar means thriving! Ask your Tiny Arrow if something is thriving, is it growing well or bad? Well! Zepho means watch! Have your Tiny Arrow watch something for a few seconds, explaining that they are concentrating on one spot at one time! Gatam means their touch! Have your Tiny Arrow touch your hand! Kenez means bright! Turn on the light in a room and explain with the light on, the room becomes bright! Then turn the light off so they can see the opposite!
These are the sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam and Kenez.
