Hype Train derailment in Norway!

In Sunday’s round five game between Fabiano Caruana and Shakhriyar Mamedyarov it was Shak that came out the victor. Out of the opening Fabi seemed to have a dream position with multiple roads leading to the Black King but after some inexact moves Shak grabbed some material, held on and exchanged down into a winning attack that would net further material gains as they entered the endgame.
