On a quiet night at a gas station in a small Russian town, a group of armed terrorists burst in and started shooting civilians. Little did they know, they were being watched by a seasoned veteran who had served in both Chechen conflicts.
The veteran, whose name has not been released to the public, had brought his grandfather's PPSh-41 with him. This Soviet-era submachine gun had been passed down through his family for generations and was well-maintained.
Amongst the chaos, the veteran took action. In a shootout that lasted only two minutes, he deposed of all the terrorists, sustaining major injuries.
Following the incident, the veteran fled the scene, knowing that the police would be on their way. He made his way to a nearby abandoned bunker notorious for gang activity.
Using his military training and experience, the veteran was able to infiltrate the bunker and take out several members of the gang. However, he was ultimately overpowered and killed in the confrontation. The police, who were in tight pursuit arrived on the scene and took care of the remaining thugs.
Vigilantism is the act of taking the law into one's own hands and punishing alleged offenders, often outside of the legal system. We strongly condemn the actions taken by the veteran that night, though we realize that had he not intervened, more innocent blood might have been spilled.
