Gollum appears to be yet another entry in the list of broken game launches of 2023. Many are starting to see this pattern of broken launch, apology and hopeful retribution.

I'm starting to see these companies engage in this as a business strategy. While I don't believe Daedalic did so intentionally, it does seem to be a pattern. I hope I'm wrong, and I hope devs start releasing games in a working state again, but this definitely seems like a trend.
