Proskomedia

The Liturgy of Preparation, also Prothesis (Greek: Πρόθεσις, lit. 'a setting forth') or Proskomedia (Προσκομιδή Proskomidē, 'an offering, an oblation'), is the name given in the Orthodox Christian Church to the service of preparing the bread and wine for the Eucharist.
