Fascinating Tai Chi Style Tea Serving Ceremony in Wuyi Mountain
This Chinese tea serving ceremony is part of my Wuyi Mountain (武夷山) tea tour and this amazing Tea serving ceremony is really a highlight of the tour and summarizes some of the important elements of Chinese tea culture and combines it with Tai Chi.
Wuyi Mountain is considered the birthplace of Oolong tea, some of the most famous Chinese tea varieties originate from Wuyi Mountain, such as Da Hong Pao 大红袍 (Big Red Robe) Shui Jin Gui 水金龟 (Golden Water Turtle), Tie Luo Han 铁罗汉 (Iron Arhat), and Bai Ji Guan 白鸡冠 (White Cockscomb). Wuyi Mountain was also designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999.
Overall, Wuyi Mountain holds a special place in Chinese tea culture and is considered a key center for the growth and development of tea in China
