Vivek Ramaswamy: We Need to Disrupt the Sino-Russian Alliance

Trump says he’d end the Ukraine war in 24 hours but hasn’t said how. DeSantis told Tucker he was against the war but then did a total 180 within hours after donors pressured him. Haley, Scott, and Pence favor continued support for Ukraine but without specifying clear limits. I would end the war by ending further U.S. support for Ukraine & negotiating peace with Russia that achieves a top U.S. objective: end Russia’s growing military alliance with China. This is mirror-image of Nixon’s maneuver that distanced China from Russia in 1972, except this time Putin is the new Mao. The Sino-Russian alliance represents the greatest military risk the U.S. has ever faced, and Biden’s ongoing support for Ukraine is pushing China & Russia even closer together. My top U.S. national security objective is to disrupt the Sino-Russian alliance in a manner that weakens China without war. Sometimes it takes an outsider to state the obvious: our foreign policy decisions should advance our own security interests, not someone else’s.
