In the midst of very dark times in the kingdom of Israel during the reign of the wicked King Ahab, Elijah, the prophet of God, prophesies that judgment from the Lord in the form of a drought has now begun. In the third year of the severe drought, the Lord sends Elijah back to confront Ahab and Israel of their sin of forsaking the Lord. Elijah moves in great power to demonstrate who the Lord is, and who Baal isn't. However, Elijah becomes afraid of threats from Jezebel and runs for his life. Much can be learned from how the Lord ministers to Elijah.
