Coromandel Train Accident: ओडिशा के बालासोर में बीती रात रूह कंपा देने वाला ट्रेन हादसा हो गया. हादसा 2 जून शाम करीब 7 बजे हुआ, जब यशवंतपुर से हावड़ा जा रही दुरंतो एक्सप्रेस डिरेल हुई और हावड़ा से चेन्नई जा रही कोरोमंडल एक्सप्रेस से टकराई. इसके बाद कोरोमंडल की कई बोगियां ट्रैक से उतर गई और मालगाड़ी से टकरा गई. रेलवे अधिकारियों से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक घटना में अब तक मरने वालों की संख्या 288 पहुंच गई है. साथ ही 900 लोगों से ज्यादा लोगों के घायल होने की खबर है. बालासोर में 15 घंटे बाद रेस्क्यू ऑपरेशन खत्म हो गया.

The accident took place on June 2 at around 7 pm, when the Duronto Express going from Yesvantpur to Howrah derailed and collided with the Coromandel Express going from Howrah to Chennai. After this, many bogies of Coromandel got off the track and collided with the goods train. According to the information received from the railway officials, the death toll in the incident has reached 288 so far. Along with this, there is news of more than 900 people being injured. The rescue operation ended in Balasore after 15 hours.
