He has been the coach in numerous World Badminton Events, including the World Championships, World Junior Championships, Youth Olympics and Pan-American Games. Efendi was the Badminton Canada Coach of the Year in 2017. He currently coaches at the E Badminton Training Centre in Markham, ON, Canada.
