Tekhelet Part 2 - The Rediscovery

Scientists and scholars search for the formula of the mysterious Biblical blue dye. Although the origin was believed to be the Murex snail, the Murex produces a purple color not blue. But finally there was a breakthrough and the beautiful blue color was seen again for the first time in over 1000 years.

Baruch Sterman is the author of "The Rarest Blue" a book that recounts the effort to figure out the lost formula for the holy dye known as Tekhelet in the Bible.
