Niitsitapi Park Incident June 2 2023 Highlight

Another incident allegedly involving drugs and an individual heard screaming for several minutes. The individual was detained by RCMP and taken away by the Paramedics.

This is the second (known) incident in Niitsitapi Park (located at the intersection of 52nd Avenue, 53rd Avenue and 58th Street), Red Deer, Alberta, in two weeks. Word on the street is there are incidents here a couple times a week.

The CPR Bridge and Niitsitapi Park have been the site of several crimes ranging from public disturbance to a gun-related incident just ten months ago.

As with the incident just two weeks ago (involving over a dozen RCMP and paramedics) you probably won't see anything about this in the local news.
