Respectability Politics and its discontents (read description)

I hold initial beliefs based around statistical likelihood of someone from an area being a certain way until they distinguish themselves as an individual, if negative stereotypes about them are reinforced by their own behaviour I typically avoid them, if they are civilized and decent I don't care about the stereotypes in regards to them, they are fine in my book
