The BRS-3000T ran out of fuel after just under 5 minutes. The MSR Pocket Rocket 2 burned for just over 10 minutes before the fuel ran out. So, in terms of burn time, the MSR Pocket Rocket 2 lasted twice as long as the BRS-3000T on a full tank of fuel.
Thats important to note if youre planning on cooking multiple meals or boiling multiple pots of water in a single session. Overall, I’m excited to use it more often for backpacking.
It’s lighter than any of the stoves I have collected over the years, and it packs up very small. I haven’t tested its durability as much as I’d like, but so far it’s been great.
The MSR Pocket Rocket 2 Ultralight Camping and Backpacking Stove is an excellent choice for those who prioritize weight and compact size.
