Gov. Jared Polis signs bill Friday cementing Lunar New Year as an observed holiday

Lunar New Year is based on the lunar calendar, not the solar calendar, it can fall anytime between late-January and mid-February. To give Coloradans a date that is easier to remember, Colorado will celebrate Lunar New Year on the first Friday in February.
