Cristiano Ronaldo has welcomed the possibility of former Real Madrid team-mate Karim Benzema joining him in Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo believes the arrival of Benzema coupled with the progression the SPL wishes to make could make the Saudi league in the top five leagues in the world in the near future.

Despite not winning a trophy in his first season with Al-Nassr, the Portuguese forward is optimistic his side can challenge for titles ahead of the upcoming campaign.
