Environmentally irresponsible use of electric car batteries is criminal

In this clip, Charlie Kirk puts to rest a college kid who thinks that electric cars and trucks are the end-all be-all of environmental responsibility. As Charlie says and as evidence supports, cobalt lithium batteries are impossible to dispose of or recycle. With rare earth minerals and radioactive substances these batteries pose a far greater threat to the environment than use of petroleum products.

If our cars were powered by either propane or natural gas we'd have a lot less environmental damage. When it comes to protecting our environment we need to get a way from current battery technology, not run toward it.
