The Claim That One Can Lose Salvation Is A Mixing of Law & Gospel.

In this video, Presbyterian author Monty L. Collier explains that saints are those who believe the Gospel of Christ alone—and that God Almighty, who cannot lie, promises to justify, save, and preserve every single one of them. Because God is omnipotent, no believer of the Gospel can ever lose salvation. When a misguided fellow claims that one can lose his or her salvation by committing some sin, then that confused person is mixing Law and Gospel. The person who thinks one can forfeit salvation is asserting the old Papist lies of man's free will, salvation by grace and works, justification by faith and works, and a salvation that is based on synergism. Contrary to such Roman Catholic nonsense, Biblical Christianity teaches justification by faith alone (see Romans 3:28 and Galatians 2:16).
