The plot is about a dystopian world where a single disease known as "Parasitic Fungus" will soon spread through the air, resulting in the entire human race becoming infected. In addition, there is a group of zombie children who attend a military school where a doctor, teacher and sergeant teach them. There is a girl named "Melanie" who stands out from the rest of the others. Her teacher is well aware of her abilities and gives her preferential treatment over her peers. Zombies attack this army base but the soldiers fight back valiantly. Though many of them fall victim to the zombies. Now there is a cure for this ailment: a doctor can create a vaccine made from the exceptional girl Melanie's brain. Her life is saved by the teacher, who refuses to let this happen.

When Melanie saves the teacher from being arrested, she receives a cure for everyone. There is a plant growing out of every zombie body that she has seen so far, she says to herself. The seed of this plant will be the final weapon used by the zombies to spread the infection through the air. In the end, " Melanie" burns all of the roots and saves the human race. This also results in the death of many people.
