I recently purchased the Hiland Aluminum Road Bike for my daily commute and weekend rides. So far, it has held up well and met my expectations. Although the gears dont change super smoothly, it wasnt a major issue for me.
I find them to be plenty functional for my needs. However, I do recommend carrying a pump with you at all times as the tires tend to go flat quickly. The frame looks great with an eye-catching weld and paint scheme.
I upgraded the pedals and changed the crank to a 1x, which helped improve my riding experience. One downside I have noticed is that the brakes arent perfect, but with a little adjusting, they do the job.
I also found the levers to be a bit flimsy. Assembly was a breeze, thanks to the manual and all the required tools that were included in the box. The bike comes partly assembled, and I was able to put the rest together without any issues.
The bike itself weighs around 25 lbs, give or take, making it lightweight and easy to maneuver. The tires are 700 x 25c, which offers a great riding experience.
Overall, I believe that the Hiland Aluminum Road Bike is a great value for your money. If youre looking for a starter road bike or a budget option, I highly recommend it.
