Plants vs Zombies 2 - Penny's Pursuit - Zomboss - Seedium Plant Showcase - Heath Seeker - June 2023

This Penny's quest focuses on the Seedium plant Heath Seeker and was offered between between May 31, 2023 and June 7, 2023.

Heath Seeker is a member of the Spear-Mint family.
Heath Seeker costs 125 Sun. (-25 Sun at levels 2, 6 and 9.)
When planted, Heath Seeker will explode and fire up to nine (9) piercing darts at zombies.
Each dart will do 560 damage to a zombie. (+180 damage at levels 3, 7 and +170 damage at level 9.)
Each dart will pierce up to three (3) times. (+1 zombie at levels 5 and 10)
When hit by a pierced dart, zombies will take 190 damage. (+50 damage at level 2, +100 at levels 4 and 6, +120 at level 8.)

The Good:
An instant plant which can do a lot of damage.
Very reasonable cost.
Darts can seek out zombies across the entire lawn.

The Bad:
Like all instant plants, the recharge time can be a bit longer than you'd like.
Has no plant food effect.
Chance a specific zombie may be untouched by the darts.

Commentary:
Heath Seeker is Homing Thistle after being given plant food.

Bottom Line:
Heath Seeker is an amazing plant. It's also under-utilized because of the Mint family it is in and because of its relative unreliability in not being able to target a specific zombie.

Players start with 1,250 Sun.

We do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
