“More great RSV news: The United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA) has approved our RSV vaccine for adults 60 years and older,” tweeted Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla. “The severity of RSV disease can increase with age and comorbidities, placing older adults at high risk for this disease.”
“They’re saying this approval will help offer older adults protection [from] the anticipated — anticipated RSV season this fall,” remarked #CHDTV host Polly Tommey.
“From people like myself who’ve been in this game a long time, I can tell you we can see the warning signs,” she attested. “We are expecting to see huge surges in fearmongering news ... It’s going to get much more intense.”
