RIP Takoda Collins - December 18th 2008 – December 13th 2019

Okay... First and foremost, Montgomery County Ohio failed Takoda, and failed him badly. The fact that Al Mutahan Mclean still had full custody of this child is absolutely mind blowing. MANY people contacted children services with complaints concerning Takoda’s wellbeing, and on May 11th 2018, police responded to a welfare check request from Takoda’s school, there was no answer at the door... Takoda was immediately pulled from public school and enrolled into home school.

On May 14th 2019 Takoda’s Biological mother also requested a welfare check with fear that Takoda was being abused, and police deemed that Takoda was being cared for... His biological mother also knew something was wrong...

There are several phone calls between detectives and people that had contact with Takoda and Al Mutahan as well as a lot of other content that will be on my Patreon channel if you are interested in taking a closer look at this case. (And other cases)

You will hear in this interview Al’s attempts to paint Takoda as a monster... A 10 year old monster that has been that way for quote “years and years”...

Takoda would be beaten, SA’d and crushed before he stopped breathing and Al called 911...

Medical examiners stated that the injuries on Takoda at the time of his death were that comparable to someone in a severe automobile accident...

Mclean pleaded guilty to one count of murder, rape and kidnapping in addition to 3 counts of child endangerment. While the death penalty was not an option, Judge Adkins showed no mercy.

Al Mutahan Mclean received the maximum sentence, which was 51 years to life and will not be eligible for parole until until 2072, he will be 83 years old.

At the time of Takoda’s death in December of 2019, Montgomery County Children Services did not have an open case file on Takoda Collins... In 2021, a $3.25 million dollar settlement was reached between Montgomery County OH and the Takoda Collins estate for their neglect in this case.

I know that the authorities in this situation let Takoda down, but if you believe a child is in danger or is being abused, SAY something! These kind of absolutely disgusting cases can be avoided if we all remain vigilant. Take care of each other, and I will see you in the next one!
