How Many Acres Are Needed To Be Self Sufficient?

In this video, we are talking about how much land you need to be self sufficient, assuming you are not only going off grid, by also working towards self sufficiency.

I can't believe I didn't talk about chickens! Those are. whole other subject, but basically, the needs of chickens are pretty minimal. 2-3 square feet per chicken in the coop and 8-10 square feet in the run.

I couldn't find a specific source for how much land is needed for firewood, but it seems like the consensus is a minimum of 10 acres of mature trees will produce 1 cord a month forever, as long as the trees are replaced as you harvest them
