Charcoal Fried Omelette

Charcoal fried omelette is a unique twist on the classic omelette, where the omelette is cooked on a hot piece of charcoal instead of a regular pan. This technique is believed to infuse the omelette with a smoky flavor and aroma.

Here is a simple recipe for charcoal fried omelette:

Ingredients:

2 eggs
1/4 cup chopped onions
1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
1 green chili, finely chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
Salt (as required)
1 tbsp oil
Charcoal (as required)
Instructions:

Light a piece of charcoal until it becomes hot and turns red.

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs until frothy.

Add the chopped onions, tomatoes, green chili, turmeric powder, and salt to the bowl. Mix well.

Heat a small pan or skillet over medium heat and add 1 tbsp of oil.

Once the oil is hot, turn off the heat and place the hot charcoal in the center of the pan. Be careful not to touch the charcoal with your hands.

Pour the egg mixture around the charcoal and cover the pan with a lid. Let it cook for 5-7 minutes, until the omelette is cooked through.

Remove the charcoal from the pan with tongs and discard it.

Using a spatula, carefully lift the omelette out of the pan and transfer it to a plate.

Your delicious charcoal fried omelette is ready to be served. Enjoy it with some bread, toast, or your favorite sides.
