How to teach coding to kids (from Microsoft Software Engineer)

I work at Microsoft as a Software Engineer and here are is my best advice to get your kids introduced to coding/programming:

Get your kids started with scratch and basic programming concepts. Have them move on to simple game development. Encourage their interest but critique their work honestly. This will help them to successful in the long run.
