Why is Australia Supporting the Pandemic Treaty?

The Australian government is supporting the World Health Organisation’s so-called “Pandemic Treaty.”

If passed, it appears that Australia’s future pandemic responses will be utterly controlled by the lamentable WHO.

I think Australians should be worried, but the Department of Health assured me it's all okay.
