In certain regions of Australia we have a large issue with invasive, introduced wild rabbits. Ground shooting is a control method employed as part of broader programmes. This is an ethical and legal activity and I'm paid to perform this duty, Shooting is with a Lithgow LA101 in 22LR, firing CCI subsonic hollow point ammunition. My thermal scope is a Pulsar Thermion 2 LRG XG50.

If you don't understand why invasive species control is so important in Australia, or have the historical knowledge of how much damage rabbits have done in the past in Australia - GOOGLE IT !!!

These are not someone's fluffy pets being shot. But they are a tasty meal if you are inclined to eat them.
