Strela-10 air defence system in action

Combat crews of the Strela-10 air defence system hit air targets daily. On rough terrain, like on asphalt, the Strela-10 air defence system goes on duty. The system is designed to directly cover the units of the Ground Forces in all types of combat and on the march, as well as small-sized military and civilian targets from attacks by low-flying air attack weapons when they are visually visible.

The complex is capable of hitting enemy aircraft, helicopters and drones. The air defence system does not emit any radiation. One can shoot from a place and on the move.

In the course of patrolling the line of contact from the temporary observation point, the combat crew received target designation to enter the zone of destruction of an unidentified air object. After additional reconnaissance, the unmanned aerial vehicle was identified and taken for escort. An anti-aircraft guided missile hit the target - the Fury drone - at a distance of about 3 km.
