I love the compact size. Fits nicely on my kayak. The PiranhaMax 4 has a bright and clear screen. No trouble reading it in bright sunlight. Setting up this fish finder was very straightforward.
Didnt need the manual for anything. The menu system is easy to navigate and the unit beeps when a button is pressed so you know youve made a selection.
The included mounting hardware works great. Held the unit tight to my boat. The dual beam transducer does a great job of showing details of the bottom and fish.
I really appreciate the built-in temperature sensor. Helps me locate the warmer and cooler water. I like the ability to adjust the sensitivity so I can tailor it to the water conditions.
The sounder is fast and updates quickly. No lag, even at higher speeds. I love the ability to zoom in on different depths of the water column. Helps me hone in on the fish.
