NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh addresses the media on Parliament Hill ahead of the vote on his party's motion that calls on David Johnston to step down as the federal government's special rapporteur on foreign interference. The motion also reiterates the NDP's call for a public inquiry on foreign interference. Responding to questions from reporters, the NDP leader comments on whether his party will continue to support the Liberal government should opposition parties vote in favour of the motion. Singh also discusses a Radio Canada report that the RCMP will be increasing security for cabinet ministers and senior bureaucrats due to a rise in threats. (May 31, 2023)
