Pistol Brace Change

The Pistol Brace ban is going into effect tonight, millions of people will become felons tonight after a changed definition. Laws are supposed to be written by the Legislative branch, passed by the Executive branch and enforced by the Judicial branch. Nowhere in our system is the bureaucracy allowed to change laws. In fact, they are specifically prohibited from it. From a legal perspective, the individuals who made this change and anyone enforcing it could be considered to be in contempt of congress for violating congressional prerogative. I may have a low opinion of congress, but they are the group responsible for creating our laws. The BATFE is not a law making organization and is not legally able to change a law in such a way as to alter the real world implementation of that law.
