SELF-IMPROVEMENT CULTURE

I like the concept of self-improvement and i think it's a valid and beneficial practice.
But if you neglect other areas of your life for too long with the aim of self-improvement, then in the long run you will become an extremist weirdo, an idiot.

You have to become a more interesting person, if you're a "nerd" who got rich you're still a "nerd", people surround you out of interest not because they like you.

If you isolate yourself for a long time you will end up becoming weird.
Even if you became rich, smart and with a good physique, you are still a weirdo.

So don't neglect other areas of your life.
Of course you have to charge yourself and demand more of yourself but remember that each person comes from places with different situations and opportunities.
You will never achieve something very big alone, you need help from other people.

Have focus but live your life!

“The ideal is unnatural naturalness, or natural unnaturalness. I mean it is a combination of both.
I mean here is natural instinct and here is control. You are to combine the two in harmony.
Not if you have one to the extreme, you'll be very unscientific.
If you have another to the extreme, you become, all of a sudden, a mechanical man
No longer a human being.
It is a successful combination of both.
That way it is a process of continuing growth.”

― Bruce Lee.
