A couple weeks ago they finally announced the second company who will be providing a lunar lander for their return to the moon. Many of you are already aware that the first company that was awarded a contract with NASA to design and build a lunar lander was SpaceX. The second lander contract, which will fund the development of the lunar lander that will be used on Artemas 5, which will be the third landing in the Artemas missions, slated for 2029, went to The National Team. Which is a partnership of companies led by Blue Origin, that was founded by Jeff Bezos of Amazon fame. With the world's two richest men Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, competing to build the first two manned lunar landers in over fifty years the landers they came up with have to be leaps and bound better than the Lunar Excursion Module, aka, the LEM designed by NASA in the sixties, right? Well, let me explain!
