Why Contingency Agreements are a MUST (IMO)

Contingency agreements, yes or no? It is a highly debated topic and spoiler alert, I am a huge fan and here's why. Even Julio recently just said right here 15 hours ago, I'm gonna start using it as I'm a new sales rep. I just lost a sale today cuz I didn't have the homeowner sign anything. And Julio, it happened to me as well.

That's why I am a huge fan of using them. In fact, I had a gentleman. I did the handshake deal, even the scouts honor. The adjuster showed up two hours late. He gave me the chalk, I chalked the roof up, got the roof approved. And when I went to go tell the homeowner marching over there with pride, the homeowner slammed the door in my face after and said, great.

Now give me your estimate. And I lost the deal. And the reason that I believe the contingency is so powerful is it sets the expectations out of the gate. Yeah, it may not be enforceable, but it will tell you the people that have cancellations. It goes down a lot when used properly. And the contingency agreement when presented the right way, as I teach in my sales system, link in the description is designed around the value it brings to the homeowner. So they say, I do wanna sign this cuz it helps me.
