New Play Space For Galt Gardens | Tuesday, May 30, 2023 | Micah Quinn | Bridge City News

Construction on a new play space at Galt Gardens is set to begin next week. The project received a $375,000 grant from the federal government.

Staff with the City of Lethbridge broke down the budget costs for this upcoming initiative.

Fencing will be set up in early June and the play space will be located adjacent to the Rotary Centennial Fountain in the southeast corner of Galt Gardens.

The park is tentatively scheduled to open by mid-September.
