Back To Eden Gardening Needs An Update

Jackie and I were sick and tired of weeding our garden, and we had heard a lot about the Back to Eden and Routh Stout methods of gardening, which involve using layers of organic material to build your soil over time, for a more abundant harvest. No till gardening is without a doubt, one of the healthiest ways to grow your own food.

The tricky part is that it does require a fair bit of weeding. Since the soil is so rich, vegetables aren't the only thing that likes growing there. But we don't like having to spend time in the garden weeding, so we set out to adjust the way we garden and combine the wonders of modern technology, mainly landscape cloth, with the soil building that happens with the Ruth Stout and Back To Eden styles of gardening.

Hopefully, this trick works out and you can use some of these tips in your organic garden in the future!

We'd love to know what you think!
