The Maple Sap Is Running - DIY Maple Season 2021

I just happened to check the weather forecast and realized that we needed to get some maple taps in or we were going to miss the first run of the year on the homestead. There is nothing quite like homemade maple syrup, and the first run is some of the sweetest of the year.

I can't wait to collect this sap and boil it on our homemade maple syrup evaporator.
