We Hatched Ducklings From Gold Shaw Farm!

Morgan from Gold Shaw Farm sent us some Khaki Campbell duck eggs in the mail for hatching. We wanted to keep a vlog of the hatching experience from start to finish using our GQF Hova-Bator. It was our first time hatching duck eggs, so we didn't quite know what to expect, but we wanted to allow others to follow along with our adventure.

We had a dozen eggs that went into the incubator, and of them, 10 were viable and began to develop. A few of the ducklings began to break out of their shells, and that's when things went a little off script. One of the ducklings got stuck when breaking out of his shell, and I had to make the tough decision to go in and help. Sometimes, you need to help a duck or chicken out of it's egg, but it is always a risky business.
