Build This Simple Chick and Duckling Brooder For Under $25

So, we have some special eggs in our incubator that we are hoping will hatch any day now. We needed a new brooder to put them in since we have chicks in our current brooder, but we wanted something simple, affordable and stress free.

We also wanted a brooder that would come apart easy to store and not take up a ton of space when we weren't using it. This led to building a slip together brooder box that uses a single sheet of 1/2" plywood to make a completely solid space to brood your chicks, ducklings, goslings, or other poultry/waterfowl.
