It's the time of year when anyone who planted Garlic last fall gets to harvest the first offering from the plant, the garlic scape. Harvesting them at the right time ensures a tender, delicious garlic scape. Knowing when to take them is key.

In this video, I show you when to harvest your garlic scapes, and show you a way to cook them that doesn't involve making garlic scape pesto. Not that it isn't delicious, but this recipe shakes it up a bit and goes beyond the normal preparation.
