3 Year Old Watches A Pig Slaughter

We had a pig get sick recently that lead to a slaughter here on the farm. Emma, our 3 year old daughter, is at the age where she is beginning to realize how life and death play into our daily lives on the farm, and the greater purpose of what we do every day to be more self sufficient as homesteaders.
