Moving Our First Ever Turkeys Outside

We've never raised turkeys on the farm, and decided to take a chance on them this year. So far, they have been great, but MAN! They grow way faster than we expected. We need to get them out of the brooder and into our Lumnah Acres Chicken Tractor, ASAP!

The Mindful Homestead is a small farm in southwestern New Hampshire. We raise forest pastured pork, pastured chicken, and both chicken and duck eggs. We also raise our own vegetables in our garden and are working to establish a permaculture orchard. We strive to provide a great life for our animals and aim to produce the best quality food we can for both ourselves, and a limited amount of local customers.
