Sen. Schumer lauds Biden and team for negotiating deal on debt ceiling

During an address to the Senate floor on Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said the debt ceiling agreement represents bipartisan cooperation. “I commend President Biden and his team for producing a sensible compromise under the most difficult of circumstances,” said Sen. Schumer.
