#DOŚĆ POLAND: DAD ARRESTED FOR TAKING KIDS OUTSIDE TO PLAY

This is Poland 2020. Leaving your house for “nonessential reasons” has been made illegal. You can only go to the nearest pharmacy or grocery store and back. Kids may not leave at all. Families have been stuck in tiny apartments for over a month now. Some don’t have balconies, just windows, facing the north - their kids don’t ever get to see sunlight. Restrictions have now been extended for at least 3 more weeks, likely longer. This father took his kids out to the courtyard, just feet away from their home. Technically, this is against the law. Aggressively scornful police officer is arresting him in front of his children. The father says he is the kids' only caregiver. The police officer replies the children will be placed in foster care.
