Although Bumblebee was released in December 2018, every other Transformers movie has been released in June or July, so it’s likely that the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts sequel will be a summer release. The release date for Transformers: Rise of the Beasts was nearly five years after the last Transformers film, the spin-off Bumblebee. It’s unlikely that the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts sequel will take so long to hit theaters, since the delay to Transformers: Rise of the Beasts had to accommodate the COVID-19 pandemic’s effects on the film industry.

Paramount will likely want to strike while the iron is hot and won’t wait five years to release the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts sequel. The first three installments in Michael Bay’s initial Transformers series were released two years apart, while the fourth and fifth movies were released three years apart. If the new incarnation of the Transformers franchise maintains this momentum (which is something of a necessity in today’s moviegoing climate to keep audiences interested), then the Transformers: Rise of the Beasts sequel could arrive in either 2026 or 2027.
