Today we follow up on the fig suckers we took from our fig tree pruning episode. In this video, I'll be showing you how to grow a fig tree from a pulling, it's super easy. Fig trees have a great ability to root under good conditions. Propagating figs using suckers is a great way to collect plants. If you find a fig tree with great fruit on your travels then this would be a perfect way to grow the same fig tree in your own garden.
Figs are a delicious fleshly fruit found throughout the world. Native to the Mediterranean and Western Asia the Fig Tree is a hardy drought-tolerant tree that grows wild in dry and sunny locations. Fig trees prefer well-drained fertile soil but can grow in nutritionally poor soil also.
