Mamba Exploration (ASX: M24) managing director Mike Dunbar joins Small Caps to discuss the company's aggressive Western Australia exploration campaigns.

In the Kimberley region in WA's far north, Mamba is undertaking a range of work in preparation for some “boots on the ground” activity at the Copper Flats project.

The company recently commenced an airborne EM survey over four main priority copper and silver target areas.

Results from the survey will be used to define follow-up areas for ground truthing in late June.

Further to the south, Mamba has obtained impressive early results from shallow aircore drilling at the Hyden rare earth element project in WA's wheatbelt region.

Multiple significant intersections were recorded in testing of a large gravity anomaly.

Mamba also identified gold mineralisation which extends over a strike length of 850m at its Calyerup Creek project in the Albany Frazer tectonic zone.
