Supposedly, as a result of extended droughts, the supply of green leaves could be obtained only at the tops of the trees, and therefore the shorter necked giraffe died off. And the giraffes which grew longer necks survived. An honest question would be, "Will those who go to drive through windows for their meals, staffed by idiots, develop long necks trying to make the attendants get the order right"? This is sure to occur eventually.
